Your Data

What we store about you

• —Session history: Your emotion, what you're seeking, and anything you share in the "tell us more" step
• —Chat messages: The conversation you have with the AI companion during each session
• —Gratitude notes: What you write on the gratitude card at the end of a session
• —Reactions & feedback: Which cards you loved or skipped
• —Saved cards: Verses or content you've pinned (when available)
• —Device identifier: A random ID stored in your browser that links your sessions to your account.

How long we keep it

We retain your data for as long as you use the app. If you delete your account or request erasure, all personal data is permanently removed within 24 hours. We do not archive deleted data.

Third parties who process your data

• —Anthropic (Claude): Your session context is sent to Claude to generate personalized spiritual responses. Anthropic does not use this to train models.
• —Groq: Used as a fallback AI provider. Subject to Groq's privacy policy.
• —OpenAI: Creates embeddings for scripture search and retrieval. Text used for search may be sent to OpenAI’s API; see the Privacy Policy for details.
• —Neon: Our PostgreSQL database provider. Data is stored in the US.
• —Vercel: Our hosting provider. Handles request routing and media delivery.
• —Upstash: May be used for rate limiting (short-lived technical data).
• —Clerk: Authentication provider (when you create an account). Manages login credentials.
